Promimpresa is a partner of the Erasmus+ project “Embedding Sustainability Skills in Tourism Education and Training (ESTET)”. The project has a duration of 24 months, starting in October 2020 and ending in September 2022.
Together with the project coordinator Społeczna Akademia Nauk – SAN (Poland) and partners Mazowiecka Regionalna Organizacja Turystyczna – MROT (Poland), European Center for Quality – ECQ (Bulgaria), Albea Etudes et Conseils – ALBEA (France), Future in Perspective – FIP(Ireland), Eastern Macedonia – Thrace Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education – RDE (Greece), Promimpresa is pursuing the goal of fostering the development of training programmes related to sustainable tourism.
The project aims to overcome the gap between what is provisioned by VET training programmes and curricula and what is needed by organizations dealing with strategic planning of sustainable tourism activities.
Project objectives are:
– To identify the most key competences related to sustainable tourism
– To increase the awareness of the target groups on the topic
– To foster an ecologic and sustainable approach to tourism
– To improve the conditions (both social and economic) of the areas involved in the project activities
The main target groups addressed are:
– VET Teachers & Trainers
– VET Learners
– Organizations involved in the field of tourism

Promimpresa è un partner del progetto Erasmus+ “Embedding Sustainability Skills in Tourism Education and Training (ESTET)”. Il progetto ha una durata di 24 mesi, a partire da ottobre 2020 fino a settembre 2022.
Insieme al coordinatore del progetto Społeczna Akademia Nauk – SAN (Polonia) e ai partner Mazowiecka Regionalna Organizacja Turystyczna – MROT (Polonia), European Center for Quality – ECQ (Bulgaria), Albea Etudes et Conseils – ALBEA (Francia), Future in Perspective – FIP(Irlanda), Eastern Macedonia – Thrace Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education – RDE (Grecia), Promimpresa persegue l’obiettivo di promuovere lo sviluppo di programmi di formazione relativi al turismo sostenibile.
Il progetto mira a superare il divario tra ciò che è previsto dai programmi di formazione e dai curricula VET e ciò che è necessario per le organizzazioni che si occupano di pianificazione strategica delle attività di turismo sostenibile.
Gli obiettivi del progetto sono:
– Identificare le competenze più importanti relative al turismo sostenibile
– Aumentare la consapevolezza dei gruppi target sull’argomento
– Promuovere un approccio ecologico e sostenibile al turismo
– Migliorare le condizioni (sia sociali che economiche) delle aree coinvolte nelle attività del progetto
I principali gruppi target a cui il progetto si rivolge sono:
– Insegnanti e formatori VET
– Studenti VET
– Organizzazioni coinvolte nel campo del turismo
Il progetto si propone di produrre 4 Output Intellettuali:
- Quadro concettuale per l’inserimento delle competenze di sostenibilità nei curricula VET del turismo
- Portfolio di risorse di apprendimento per le competenze di sostenibilità nel turismo
- Programma di formazione in servizio
- Compendio di storie di successo
