Announcement of vacancies in Palermo: 1 Junior Project Manager for EU Projects management

Promimpresa srl is a company that deals with training, active labour policies, skills certification and local development. We work together with several organizations throughout Europe developing projects that promote the cultural, economic and social development of the territory and its inhabitants. Particular attention is dedicated to the themes of self-employment of both NEET and adult unemployed, disadvantaged or migrant people, to digital skills enhancement in both students and teachers and to the development of projects that promote the economic, social and cultural development of the territory.

Role: Senior Project Manager
Working place: Italy, Palermo
Duration: 15/02/2020 – 15/08/2020 renewable for one year
Jobs: Coordination of projects and activities of Promimpresa srl in staff with the Director

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Study of calls for proposals and funding opportunities of the European Union or other national and international institutions and/or organizations;
  • Management and coordination of projects coordinated by Promimpresa srl or in which it is a project partner within the Erasmus+ programme and other EU funding programmes;
  • Responsibility for the implementation of project activities in line with milestones, budget and deadlines, development of outputs, coordination of training activities, coordination of dissemination events, participation in international meetings, communication with partner organizations and stakeholders;
  • Monitoring and support to the reporting officer.

Profile required:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team, leadership, ability to communicate in an intercultural environment;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EU regulatory framework and EU programmes 2014-2020;
  • Work experience of at least 2 years in the management and coordination of EU funded projects, design and submission of project proposals under EU, international and national funding  programmes in the fields of education, migration, social inclusion, local development, e-skills and skills development in general.

Languages: English, written and spoken fluently.
Advanced knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Availability to travel abroad within Promimpresa srl projects and other key events.
Conditions: Contract of six months renewable for two years and then permanently

Salary: depending on the level of experience: IV level of the Professional Training Contract if more than 2 year of experience.
